Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

A notable gathering in Madrid welcomed religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.

Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment.
